Time, week 3

We lost this thursday's lessons in arts, but I have now figured out how I am going to draw my wings. I have got a picture from google, with the same that I will draw. I think that I will just copy the wings from there, but the rest I will draw for myself. I hope that my drawing will turn out nice.

Time, week 2

This week, I worked with my idea. I am going to make a clock with wings in the sky, symbolizing that "time flies" I am going to make a drawing. I know how to draw the clock and the clouds, but I am unsure on how to draw the wings. Therefore, I will look for some pictures on google to find it out.

Time, week 1

Our new unit is time, and how we can show time in paintings/sculptures. I think that this unit will be fun, and mr. Roman has shown us some examples of paintings with time. I have an idea of what I am going to do, but I am not completely sure yet.

Evaluation of symbolic self-portrait

This week, we showed all of our symbolic self-portraits, and gave constructive criticism. The people in my class said that my self-portrait looked like me, which is good. I was told that I should have had a background, which I did not have time to make. Another thing that could improve was that the colours were not smooth, which I should have impoved.

Evaluation

I think that my finished painting was average. I did not have time for the red and blue background, which I wanted to have. Also, I started painting the skin colour in one lesson, and then I continued the next. Unfortunately, I could not find my old skin color, so the one on the arms got a bit darker. I think that other than this, the painting is uneven some places, and the rest of it is fine.

Week 4

This week I finished my painting. This is what it looks like:
I thought that I could have blue and red in the background, but I did unfortunately have time for this. Therefore, the background was just white.

Week 3

This week I finished my sketch, and transfered from the paper that my sketch was on to what my final painting was going to be on. I started to make my skin color, and painting it.
